Cleaning Trays: At Performedge, your tools are unpackaged, sorted, and placed into modular cleaning trays. The tools stay in these trays through all the reconditioning processes, and then they are delivered to Balzers for their respective coatings to be applied. Each order goes directly into their cleaning system with no additional handling.

Organization: Machine layout and tooling accessibility are fundamental to efficient setups. At Performedge, everything is within reach of the operator to set up and inspect each tool. Even some of our hydraulic chucks are stored inside the machine to save time!

Procedures: Any good quality system follows a series of procedures. At Performedge, we believe that these should be easy to read and understand. That's why we've developed "visual procedures" that clearly describe each step in the process. Through the use of pictures and CNC screen captures, we are able to clearly communicate to our employees.
