Toolmakers Microscope: The performance of most cutting tools is controlled by the point geometry, and this microscope can measure most of the features on any tool with a leading cutting edge. Having three optical magnifications (10x, 20x, 30x), a digital X/Y table (accurate to microns), and a protractor for angular measurement, this microscope helps us produce consistent point geometries.

Optical Comparator: Step or profile ground tools are accurately measured using a projected shadow or an illuminated surface image. This device measures tool features such as step lengths, step angles, point angles, clearance angles, chamfers and radii. Send us your step tools and see the 'quality' difference.

Stereo Microscope: With fully variable optical powers (7x - 45x), a video adapter, and a long mounting arm for an open work area underneath, this microscope is the workhorse for the edge preparation of drills and visual inspections of cutting edges. In instances where pictures speak louder than words, we can e-mail a video frame of a detail that can help resolve questions about drilling geometries and wear patterns.
